The gown is a pure white. It has a strapless lace top with a slight sweetheart neckline. The dress sips into a full A-Line bottom with several pickups. There is a long white sash that emphasizes the train. I purchased the dress new from Vows.com because it reminded me of a $7000 Monique Lhuillier dress. My fiance and I ended up winning a free wedding, so I am selling the two dresses that I had purchased for the wedding. The dress retails for $1650 and literally has only been tried on for size. I love this dress and it is so beautiful from both the front and back! The bodice is boned so it gives you the great smooth waist and helps you stand up perfectly straight all day and night...lol. The embroidery is intricate and the french top bustle with and American bottom bustle shows this off wonerfully. This is a strapless gown with an interesting modified neckline. The color of the gown is called soft gold, but it is more of a warm ivory with a gold undertone and the embroidery is light gold and silver. In my pictures, I am wearing a four-hoop skirt. The only alterations done to this dress were the addition of bra cups and a bustle. The bustle style is a French bustle that has 12 points (hooks and colored ribbons). The size is listed as a 6, but can be adjusted to accommodate sizes 2 through 12 due to the corset in the back. I stand 5' 6" and wore 2.5" heels, and did not need to have this dress hemmed.   It was absolutely beautiful to wear on our wedding day! The dress has gorgeous inverted pleats that feature beadwork and oyster colored fabric accents inside the pleat. The back is a corset style, which I found to be very forgiving in adjusting the dress to my size. There is also beautiful beadwork along the bust area, as well as all along the bottom of the cathedral train in the back.   If you are local to the metro-Detroit area, please contact me to see this great dress in person (I live in Waterford) --but I can ship if you'd like to buy it! The dress has also been professionally dry cleaned and is ready for wear. No problems whatsoever. We are non-smokers and do not have any pets. Also included is a matching purse which I did not use.
