Ideally I would like for her/him to fly in on Wednesday, June 24th, do a run-through with me (the bride) on June 25th, makeup and hair on day of wedding for myself and my HUGE wedding party, and then makeup/hair for my trash the dress session on June 26th. I loved my dress so much that I want someone else to be able to enjoy it! I am selling my Nicole Miller CO0035 Strapless Stretch Silk Bridal Gown. You can see it on the Nicole Miller website under "Collections: Bridal 2008". It is Ivory. It is a size 6. Only worn once (duh!). My seamstress made the following alterations: (I am 5'4" and weigh about 124) -Had the hem raised in order for me to wear 3" heels and not trip on the dress (and I wanted to DANCE!) -Had the side lining taken in slightly so the lining didn't bunch up on the sides of the dress -Had more supportive bra cups inserted into the dress so it felt more secure and didn't show through (I wear a size 34B bra but I think the cups are more like a C) -Had optional spaghetti straps put into the dress, which I liked so much that I ended up wearing for the ceremony and reception! -Had my seamstress create a gorgeous bustle that essentially consists of one hidden button on the lining. I was married on a dirt road, so I decided to wear the dress bustled during the ceremony as well. It's simple, easy to do, and never came out once during my ceremony or reception. The original price (as you can see on the website) of the dress is $595. I purchased it at a small boutique in Florida. I paid $250 for the alterations, and I am selling the dress for $400! It's almost half the total of what I paid. I plan on getting the dress cleaned, although it has no big stains on it. The bottom hem is fragile and it may need to be reinforced before you wear it.
