This bridal size 10/street size 6 ivory trumpet/mermaid strapless Marisa 737 wedding gown was purchased new from an Atlanta bridal salon for $2100+ (original receipt available upon request) and worn once for my October 2009 wedding. It is from Marisa's Spring 2008 collection and features a 100% silk bodice, hand applied alencon lace, and a chapel train. $150 in alterations were completed to add covered buttons over the zipper, bustle, sweetheart neckline, padding, and taken in slightly at the waist and hips. All alterations can be undone as no fabric was cut during the fitting process. Also, the hem was not altered from its original length - I am 5'7" with no shoes and wore 2" heels. This gown is extremely comfortable, photographs beautifully, and is in excellent condition. Professional dry cleaning will be included in the purchase price. Hi Bees, I've been a reader of this site for the past 18 months and finally tied the knot a month ago! Unfortunately, reality has now reared it's ugly head and I've decided to put my dress for sale. It is a Marisa 737 dress, modified trumpet/mermaid silhouette, with 5 silk layers and alencon lace on top.  The lace flows in a very organic, natural pattern down the front and back and the dress feels very light and sweet.  I felt beautiful in my dress.  It is a dress size 6, altered down to a street size 0/2.  I am 105lbs, 5'1 and I wore 4 inch heels at the wedding.  I did not alter the hem (except for the inner most layer which is not noticable) and it was still 1/2 inch too long.    Asking price is $850, please let me know if you are interested and want additional information!

I bought this beautiful Marisa 737 strapless wedding&nbsp;for my upcoming April wedding, but have decided to have a church ceremony that requires my shoulders to be covered. It has layers of silk organza that flow into a trumpet skirt over a layer of silk satin. There is also a hand embroidered applique of alecon lace that accents the bodice and gently follows the line of the trumpet skirt. This dress looks like the Melissa Sweet "Lia". The material is satin and the color is white as stated by the designer, but actually is like a diamond white outdoors and looks more ivory indoors. Hi ladies!I bought this beautiful Marisa wedding gown at the famous Kleinfeld (Say Yes to the Dress on TLC) sample sale back in February. It has 2 layers of silk organza and a lace overlay on top. I love this dress but it no longer fits into our new venue. This dress is sample size and has not been altered. I just took it to be thoroughly cleaned last week so it is in great condition. The lace is coming off the dress a bit in the back, but it's nothing a tailor can't fix easily. On the very&nbsp; bottom of the dress there is a tiny tear (about 1/4 of an inch) but if you are getting the dress shortened, it will automatically be taken off anyway. The dress is in great shape and ready to be shown off at a beautiful wedding! Here are the numbers: I bought the dress for $1500, and I am selling it for $1100.
