It is new with tags. The neckline is slightly sweetheart-y, and there is beautiful beading around the neckline and dropped waist. The bottom hem is scalloped beaded lace. The allover lace is embroidered with a "warm" silver metallic thread (it almost casts a golden glow from the ivory satin, even though it is silver thread). It has not been altered or worn except to try on.  I loooooove this dress but I can't keep it. It was $900 originally, I paid $450 and never wore it, and I'm asking for $320 or best offer. It is a new gown for 2008 so you won't find it on the designer's website yet (so people won't replicate it) but this is an authentic gown and can be found at Hannelores in Alexandria. It retails for 1800. I spent about 300 on tailoring and putting a bustle on (it has a regular bustle but you can definitely put a french bustle on if that's what you want).  If you're not familiar with the designer, google Marisa and you'll fall in love with all her dresses. The 756 is timelessly classic, elegant, and the mermaid silhouette is SO flattering. This is a size 6 gown, I am normally a size 2 4 street size.  The dress hasn't been cleaned since I wore it for my wedding last month so it is available for trying on for anyone that would like to meet me at my home in ashburn, va.  Let me know if I can answer any other questions for you. Size chart measurements are bust 32.5", waist 24.5", hips 35". Dress was a bit big on me in the bust, but I just wore a really great padded push up bra! Hips were an inch too big, but made it easier to bend and move around. Dress is ivory, embellished with ribbon lace, sequins, and beads, has lace up back. Had original straight neckline altered to a sweetheart, but it is only puckered so likely could be altered back if stitches are removed and fabric is steamed out. One point bustle added with ribbon tie. Ribbon is separate from the two hidden loops. As for length of dress I had it altered, and I am 5'3", wore 3.5" heels and it was perfect. Has small train in back, as shown in photos. Paid $1550 for dress, asking $700 (already cleaned!) or make me an offer.  Also have Maggie Sottero Veil 1 tier ivory fingertip length with scalloped beaded edges. very lightweight, hardly noticed it was there!
