Thus, I ended up with another gown.     I did buy this used and did not try it on before purchase. It was too small and short for me.   I'm finally cleaning out my closet and decided to sell it.    So for you size 0 brides, this is your chance to buy a high end designer gown (Reem Acra is comparable to Monique Lhuillier, Vera Wang, Kenneth Pool, etc.) for a fraction of the cost. (Gown originally worth $4300) I'm between a size 0 and 2 and it was a snug fit. So I would say this gown is perfect if you are    Bust: 31-32AWaist: 24-25 I could have made it work if it wasn't for my love of high stilettos. :p At 5'3", I would have had to wear flats if I wanted to wear the dress. This ivory with silver embroidery satin/silk ballgown was worn once in NYC. There are minor discolorations at the armpit area but totally not noticeable. It has been drycleaned. It's hard to tell from these pictures, but the fabric and shape of this gown are extraordinary.  I was told the fabric is an antiqued silk and worth more than the price I paid for the dress.  I was hoping I could have the dress altered to fit me, but was told by my seamstress that reducing the gown from a size 10 to a 2, although possible, would ruin the lines of the dress.  My seamstress also mentioned that the gown could become more A-line by removing a layer or two of the crinoline and the bows could be easily removed as they are only tacked on.  You can see from the pictures that the gown has the buttons going down the back as well as an inner zipper.  I'm sorry that after having tried on the gown so many times, it has become wrinkled and it's difficult to see from the pictures how beautiful it is.  It just needs to be dry cleaned, I would do it, but I'm sure it will become even more wrinkled during shipping.  Other than that, the gown is in perfect condition. I will include the matching veil I bought for $200 (also from Making Memories).  I don't have pictures, but it matches the dress perfectly with an antique silk ribbon, which frames the face and accentuates the detail of the dress.  I'm not sure of the exact length of the veil, but I believe it is just a bit shorter than fingertip. I will pack the dress in the Making Memories pink garment bag and package the veil separately.  Please don't hesitate to email me with any additional questions.  I'm asking $1400 for the dress + veil obo and shipping is on me.
