Not looking for someone who does this part time, nor am I looking for someone that is a photographer or other professional by profession who now does videography.  Looking for established videographer who's also knows how to move with the times and brings a new fresh perspective and enthusiasm to each wedding shot.  And who can work within a reasonable budget. This will be for a Jewish affair, though many of the participants are non-Jews.  Want filming to begin with bedeken and ketubah signing up to the cake cutting and some minor dancing at the reception (so perhaps 6-8 hours total).  Must be unobstrusive, though that doesn't mean shooting 20 feet back with a zoom and missing out on the important qualities of the day.  And not looking for someone that'll have bulky equipment everywhere or bright lighting (especially during ceremony). Please have website and recent sample dvds that you can provide as well as recent couple referrals.  Thanks.

Our wedding will be in the late afternoon in Brooklyn; reception in the city.  Our first concern is that we don't want a cheesy production - all the slow motion, too much music, etc., not for us.  Looking for an documentary style with some artistic creativeness - the main thing to keep in mind, this is our wedding and we want a video as a keepsake for our future generations. Not interested in having someone tape my preparations - as if I won't have enough folks.  Just looking for pre-ceremony things (singing the ketubah, veiling, etc., along with shots of the sanctuary before the festivities begin), the ceremony itself, and the reception (please, no table interviews, etc., that's cheese!). We are looking for a wedding videographer in the Boston area for a wedding in May 2010 for $1,000 or less.  We're looking for a good videographer with a contemporary cinematic style, good use of natural light and great editing skills.  We would like at least 5-6 hours of coverage (ceremony through the dances and toasts) but don't need interviews or getting ready footage.  HD is a definite plus, but if you can show me samples that are crystal clear in SD, I might be convinced.  We want an edited video and a hightlight reel set to music, as well as the full ceremony footage, so we can show off in the years to come.  We would like to have 2 cameras at the ceremony, as well as wireless microphones, so we don't miss a thing! Looking for a videographer to produce a highlight / same day edit-esque (doesn't actually have to be same day, I just like that style) video of the ceremony, first look, and formal shots ONLY for my October 2010 wedding, in Westchester, NY.  Ideally, I'd like to have a five to ten minute video, with music, our ceremony, and vows, edited with our first look and formal shots (which will all be taken before the ceremony).
