I bought 150 gold-colored "holiday crackers" to fill and use as favors at my November wedding but I changed my mind. Holiday crackers are a X-mas/New Year's tradition in England--you pull the strings that come out either side and the cracker snaps open and goodies fall out. You may have seen a version of them for sale at Williams-Sonoma.
These are new, still in the boxes in which they were shipped and each already contains a paper crown but there is plenty of room in each cracker's "barrel" to add some more tchotchkes. They'd be perfect for a December or January wedding, especially one with some gold in the palette!
I paid just over $100 for them and I'd like to get $80. Local pick-up preferred. I'm in Philadelphia. Ping me if you'd like to see a photo.
