My name is Hannah and I am from the lowcountry of South Carolina. I recently moved from New York City to Napa, CA and am in the public relations business.
I am getting married May 31, 2007 outside of Charleston, SC. I am in the process of booking a band for my wedding and multiple trustworthy contacts have recommended The Jimmy Church Band, http://www.thejimmychurchband.com/. All of us went to school down in New Orleans and know good music, and some work in the music business, and all have stated high accolades. The band was also recently in Vogue Magazine for top party/wedding bands.
The band is looking for a gig on Friday night, May 30 in the lowcountry area (SC/GA) They do not know the area (they are from Nashville) and I thought of reaching out to you in case one of your other fans was looking for a client looking for a fun Motown band that evening.
This could benefit us both due to the fact they are willing to split their usual event fee of $10,000 down the middle and offer us each their services for $5000…if there is another gig that Friday night worth making the trip.
You might know someone looking for a band and this might help them save a bit on their budget...
Ha ha, ok, maybe not *that* funny but when I saw this post I seriously thought you were selling your wedding band (i.e., the ring that goes around your finger). I totally forgot about the OTHER band! Maybe you could specify in the title that it a music band?
