Ivory Silk Taffeta, Ruched taffeta trumpet gown, asymmetric train, strapless slightly sweetheart neckline. Purchased at Blush Bridal, West Vancouver Overall Condition never been worn, still in packaging it came in from BLUSH Original Purchase Price ($CDN) $3950(plus tax) was the store's base price ($4382 was what I ended up paying.) Hand made with imported Italian silk taffeta The hem has not been taken up, the dress was custom fit, but has not been altered so it can be taken in, hemmed, etc; I am a dress size 12, and the receipt says the dress is a 12, but because I did a muslin fitting it is a "custom size" but could be taken in. The silhouette is very flattering. The silk taffeta makes it very light and easy to wear and comfortable to sit, walk and dance in. The dress was made for me in Feb'08; collected;Sept '08; and never worn, it has no bad karma as my husband and I were happily married in a small casual ceremony after an illness in the family changed our wedding plans no longer requiring me to wear the dress. It's new and you'd be saving $1450(not including tax) on the basic retail price (the actual price with store alterations was $3950 for the dress and $300 for custom fit).
