- 5 dozen champagne flutes (some used, some unused, all of them washed) $7/dozen, $35 for all of them
It's $1.10 PER GLASS to rent these through Broadway Party Rental!
- 5 dozen white votive candles in clear glass candle holders (all of them unused) $4/dozen, $20 for all of them
- 7 silver-colored table number holders with chrome-plated base $14 for all of them
- 6 5 3/4-inch tall silver-plated mint julep cups (washed after use) $10/each, $60 for all of them
They were PERFECT for DIY flowers. Looked SO good with SO little effort!
- 1 off-white birdcage $15
I could probably ship some of these items, but I would prefer someone local for the most part since a lot of these items are bulky and the shipping cost would kind of negate the savings! I live in Upper West Side part of Manhattan. I would also prefer to sell everything by bulk (i.e. if you're buying champagne flutes, take all five dozen flutes, etc.)
Here are some photos of the items:
You can see the mint julep cups and votive candles and holders here. The birdcage and more votive candles and holders.
The table number holder with the mint julep cup in the background.
The table number holder, mint julep cup, and more votive candles and holders.
The table number holder with the mint julep cup, again.
One of the champagne flutes on the left. Surprisingly hard to find a decent photo of a champagne flute from the wedding since someone's holding it (hence covering it) in almost every photo!
Would LOVE to take the mint julep cups off your hands. I am not in NYC, but a stones throw away in Philly. Would love to see more pics if you have them. Thanks so much! petvet011@yahoo.com
I bought most of my flowers (they're fresh, BTW) at Gary Page on 23rd St. It's in Flower District. I think I spent about $600 for 5 bouquets (1 bride, 4 bridesmaids) 9 boutonnieres, 3 corsages, and 12 centerpieces. Let me know if you have any questions! DIYing flowers was one of the best decisions I made for the wedding.
blueeyegirl11 and sbw23,
I will e-mail you both right now.
Hi! How big is the birdcage?? Would love to take it off your hands if its big enough! I work on 34th street so maybe we could meet somewhere and exchange? Let me know!
I would prefer pick-up. The birdcage isn't that big anyway -- I measured it and it came out to be 8'' across and 15'' tall. I think the photo above will give you a pretty good idea re: how big it is (compared to the votives next to it, etc.)
The flutes are available, but votives and silver vases have already been sold. If you are interested in purchasing the flutes (THESE are bulky, so they would have to be pick-up) message me or leave your e-mail address!
Hi! I know you already sold the mint julep cups, but can you tell me where you purchased them? I am looking for the same size cups for my centerpieces. Thanks! Stacy splebans@gmail.com

I'm in Princeton and also a DIY bride with the same julep cups! I'd love to learn where you got your flowers (fresh or silk)!
By the way, great idea with the seating arrangement frame! Beautiful!
Thanks,

I still have the birdcage and champagne flutes. I'd be willing to ship the birdcage, it's pretty light.

I got them at save-on-crafts.com. Make sure to get the more expensive silver-plated ones -- the other ones look cheap.
