We custom built this cupcake holder for a friend who got married.  She doesn't need it and we have been married for over 10 years, so we don't need it either.  It is constructed out of MDF Board and 4" PVC piping.  It is very sturdy and will hold at least 75/80 cupcakes at a time.  (She had extra cupcakes under the table to replenish the holder.)  The top is perfect for a small cake so that you can still take advantage of a wedding topper.  (Some have put even a fake cake up there).  Panels can be removed so if you are not liking the black/white fabric, you can replace with your own.
