I just ordered myself a shiny new dSLR and it's time for me to break it in and start building my portfolio. I'll be shooting for free through Spring. I've only had a Canon g9 point and shoot up until this point so I don't have a large amount of photos to show you to give you an idea of what I can do, but you can see a collection of my best shots here. http://www.flickr.com/photos/thatgirljenna/sets/72157614169241112/
I expect the bridal/engagement shoots to be 2-3 hours in length. I will provide you with a DVD of the high resolution images with a guarantee of at least 25 post-processed shots. I will also be providing you with a low-resolution cd that includes all the images with my watermark for you to easily upload and share with family and friends. I encourage you to upload my watermarked images wherever you want as I would love the exposure.
Please contact me to discuss your wedding in further detail if you are interested in wedding photography. I am not currently employed so I am available to shoot every day except Sunday.

posted by Kittel-Wilson 3 years agoMy fiance and I got officailly engaged while he was deployed and have no pics together..or really good ones at least.....I would love to see if we can set up a day where we come to dallas to visit and take some pics....

I'm definitely interested. I live *way* (sarcasm!) up in Allen, but I suspect we could meet somewhere in the Dallas area for a shoot! I'd be up for either an engagement (if I can cajole the boy into it) shoot, or bridal portraits, once I get the rest o' my outfit together.
posted by iviary 3 years agoMy fiance and I live in Plano and are getting married out of state this July. I will likely do my bridal shoot there with my wedding photographer, but we didn't have a local photographer and hadn't figured out what to do about engagement photos. We'd be thrilled to help out someone who's trying to get started!
posted by mvp_bride 3 years agoOh my goodness! You are so good already! I have been following your posts and tried to make it when ya'll went to see Bride Wars- I was at the next showing. :)
My fiance and I live in a loft in West Village in Dallas. We would LOVE for you to shoot our engagement photos! I think shots with West Village as a backdrop would look great in your portfolio. Shots at the coffee shop, etc would be so cool. We also have a yorkie (our first child) who is very photogenic and would love to be in the shots. She's a real ham in front of the camera.
Oh, Mrs. Avocado, I hope you think this is a good idea too!

I'm sure I could talk the Mister into taking off from work for a weekday session. Not to mention I've been dying to meet you since I found out you were a Dallas resident.

As a beginner my rates are very low, so please don't hestitate to contact me if you are interested. I'll be posting my website on this thread as soon as I get it up.
