FS: VERA WANG Wedding Dress, Size 12, NYC area

I absolutely LOVED my Vera Wang wedding gown, but since being cleaned it has been sitting in a box in my closet. Although I don't want to part with it, I think another bride should have the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to wear a Vera Wang on their wedding day!

I'm selling my Vera Wang Wedding Gown from my Nov. 2007 wedding. It's from the Fall 2005 collection and was featered in photo shoots in both Martha Stewart Weddings and Brides Magazine. It's a classic, elegant style that was comfortable to wear...easy to sit, dance and get around in!

The dress is a size 12 (I normally wear an 8/10 street size) and was tailored to my measurements (39-28 1/2-40). I am 5'5in. and wore 3 1/2in. heels, so the dress was hemmed for a height of 5'8 1/2in. It is dark ivory, silk taffeta, strapless, has a rolled hem and no train.

I paid over $5,000 but will sell for $2,000 (firm) - cash only. Original receipt, certificate of authenticity, garment bag and preservation box are included. The dress was professionally cleaned immediately after the wedding and has been stored in the box in my closet (a non-smoking home!).

The dress is in excellent condition but has some dirt markings on the underside of the hem (not visible at all) and a small, faint red stain on the back of the dress (near the top) that can very easily be hidden under one of the folds of the material. The stain is smaller than a dime and was not visible with a camera when I tried to photograph it.
