So I am franticly searching for the Jim Hjelm #8814 but I have a couple problems....1)I can't find it at any boutiques in Orange County to try on and 2) I can't afford it....at all. I assume it is about $3,500 and I can afford about $1,500. I've searched all of the preowned wedding dress websites and I haven't had too much luck. So, If you know anything, please help!
I believe this dress is from the Spring 2008 collection... it might be a bit too early to find it pre-owned. Even if a bride ordered it at the earliest date and waited the customary 6-months to recieve it... the first brides to have this style might be wearing it now. It's possible that this style may pop up on the classifieds soon... if you have time to wait, just watch for it. Or find a trunk show in your area...
Thank you for all of your suggestions. I considered the dress from preownedweddingdresses.com but my body type is very different than the girl in the picture, otherwise I would have jumped on it. I guess I will just have to wait. I am just wondering how long girls wait before they sell their dress. I was also thinking of finding a taylor to make it for me but i haven't seen any great referrals in orange county.
