Hi, my wedding is less than five months away and I am looking for a designer trumpet style gown. I like Christos, Valentino, Lazaro, whatever designer does nice trumpet styles, I am game! Preferably ivory or darker.
I am a size 4-6 in street clothes and fit wedding dress size 8-10. Willing to consider a slightly smaller or bigger dress. I'm also 5'3" but I can alter the dress if it is too long. Thanks for your help!
posted by hannasoyk 1 year agoI have a Watters & Watters style 7086B, size 4, in white. Watters runs pretty true to size, I normally wear a 4 or 6P in street clothes. I'm 5'4" and the dress is fitted to about just above my knees/lower thigh area, and then flares out with a medium train. It was a sample, and some of the folds/drapes need to be reinforced, but that's about it.
I don't have pictures of me in the dress yet but can send them next week if you like (the dress is stored at my parents house.) Here is a picture of one of the "real brides" from wearing it (taken from the watters website)
