I am looking for a dress that will be long enough, even most of the dresses I have tried on in stores are too short. I am 6'2" with my shoes on and would like a floor length gown. I am a street size 8 but am more than willing to have a larger dress altered.
I have my dress for sale. If you were to wear a lighter petticoat it might fit. It's a size 12. Don't know if you would like it. Just thought I'd share with you. It measures 38 bust/31 waist(natural waist)/hips are free/53 inches total(from bust to bottom of dress. Let me know if this helps. mommyangels4808@yahoo.com
I also had the same sort of problem. I am 5'11 and was very worried dresses wouldn't be long enough. I tried on a lot of Mori Lee dresses and they were plenty long. Have you tried any of those? I would say one of your best bets is to talk to a sales person at a bridal boutique and find out what wedding manufactures make longer dresses. I know there are a few out there but I can't remember the names at this moment
My daughter is 5'11 inches tall and with 2" heels, she stands over 6'. Her wedding had to be cancelled this past June. We have a brand new, never removed from store packaging, never tried on, worn or altered Lazaro (LZ3750) white wedding gown for sale. Designer size is 12. Fits normal size 10; Bust 34, waist 26 1/2 - 27, lower hip 38. It measures hollow to hem 59". The chapel train was ordered in extra length - perfect for the tall bride. These are the exact store measurements taken by Kleinfelds in NYC. The gown is a hand-beaded and hand-emroidered silk organza trumpet gown. It's just stunning with its scalloped neckline and is ready to be altered to fit you exactly. The matching headpiece and veil, which we paid $360 for, comes included at no extra cost to you. The original cost was $6,000 and we are asking $2,500. We have all of the original receipts. If you live in NY, you are welcome to see it and do a try on.
I ordered a dress from POB with extra length. The name os the gown is "Bettie" from her Vinyard collection. I'm 5'9 w/o heels. Let me know if interested I can e-mail you photos ;) Thanks!
Im 6'2 and this dress is long enough for me, it is a size 16 ( however im about a street size 12-14) but it is defentely able to be altered to a smaller size, and i promise it will be long enough for you. It is a nicole miller, and im asking 700, take a look at the pics and let me know. :)
