This dress is by Melissa Sweet, worn for less than 2 hours at my reception.  It is in perfect condition and has been professionally dry cleaned.  I purchased the dress at an upscale salon at a sample sale.  It was listed as a sample but was marked "custom" and had no signs of wear.  I thought maybe it was purchased by a bride and altered according to her specifications?  I've not been able to identify the model after looking at years of Melissa Sweet dresses, but maybe someone recognizes it?  I bought it for $1,800, but I'm open to offers.

The dress is lace over a high quality satin.  The dress is ivory colored, with a slight sweet heart neckline and low back.  The dress is fitted down to the low hips and has the most gorgeous skirt.  Unlike many lace dresses I saw, the bottom of the dress has a lot of movement as a result of extra pleating.  On the inside of these pleats is a second type of lace, which compliments the lace of the main body of the dress.  I tried to show it in the pics, but I can take more if you need a better idea.

I wear street size 2 or 4 and had the dress hemmed to fit me, 5'3 with 4 inch heels.  The dress can be shortened as the hem has a separate piece of lace instead of continuous (customary with high quality dresses).  The dress has a single point bustle, which looks great with the dress.  I wore the dress with a purple satin sash, but it was not attached.  I'm happy to include the sash if you're interested.
