I bought a sample Monique Lhuillier Swan Lake gown from Nieman Marcus... and have fallen in love with another Monique (le sigh).  I am selling the Swan Lake for $1,600 or best offer.  If you google it, tons of pictures will come up... it is a very ballet-esque gown, hence the name.  Here is a link where you can see it in action on the runway:

The plus side to buying this gown is that I am selling it for less than half of what you would buy it for in the stores... a full-price version sells for over $3,000 in most stores... and it is entirely unaltered.  However, in full disclosure, its sample life was a bit rough.  It has lost several of the silk covered buttons in the back (the seamstress assured me those are easy to buy and have put on, but I can't vouch for that) and has several small tears on the bottom of the tulle.  If you are 5'5" or smaller, even in heels you will most likely have to have a few inches taken off, so all those tears should be cut right off.
