hi my wedding will be oct 2010 at a winery the theme is a rustic barn romantic and fun! color scheem is chocolate, pale yellow, and red accents i am trying to find an inexpensive way to decorate, i need many things
165 chocolate napkins
string light
2 big copper pales to fill with ice and put drinks in for cocktail hour on the lawn
tons of mason jars in total i will need 170 small (pint size 150 of them will be for homeade jelly to give out as favors, the rest will hold candles from trees)
also 150 larger mason jars for signature drink
6 copper colored watering pails (sand pails) to put roses in as centerpieces on the tables out front
leaf shaped floating candles
red and pale yellow petals
20 tall cylinder vases
40 shorter fat cylinder vases
tons of ivory votive candles
any other ideas i may be missing????
posted by VAL120406 3 months agoCongrats! That will be a beautiful location. It's not on your list but I have lots of pumpkins covered in the microbeads for a elegant look. They can be decorations, uses as table #'s (I can tell you how).

I have 40- 8" inches tall glass cylinders. I also have 40 - 5" inches rectangle vase glass. All are only used once. Looks new still. Recently bought in less than 2 months.

I am getting married on Nov 14, 2009 and have Metal pumpkin/gourd centerpieces for sale after. Also 12 Ivory 128" round tableclothes.

posted by VAL120406 3 months agoHave you thought about using the wine bottle table numbers? There are some great ones out there either on Etsy or on Martha Stewart's site. They're pretty easy to make and look wonderful on a fall harvest table.

posted by tracig 3 months agoi have thought of the idea of the wine bottle but i am not set on this yet i really want to find something creative with river rocks this is a pic of the mason jars i am planning to use as centerpieces they will be surrounded by votives and petals i was thinking about placing a large rock inside of the jar with the table # painted on i, do you think this would even be noticed when people are looking for there tables??

posted by ferianievents 2 months agoCongratulations! My wedding was a chocolate theme with bold color accents. I have red petals as well as tons of tealight candles (not votives though). I also have a basket for the flower girl with chocolate ribbon weaved around it.

posted by VAL120406 2 months agoI have 144 clear - 2" Diameter x 2 ½" Height votive holders for $0.90 each or $100 the whole lot. The ivory candles are used, but still have a couple of hours to burn. I can leave it in the holders, or I can clean it out, and you get your own candles. 9 clear - 3.5 diameter, 6 “ height cylinder vases with used ivory candles. Still 20 hours to burn. $10.00 each or $70 for the whole lot. All candles are used, in ivory color, unscented, smokeless and clean burning with lead-free cotton wicks. long burning time. The holders are clear glass, with thick walls. I also have 3 - 3” diameter, 6” height pillar candles, ivory color. NEW. $4.00 each . Shipping’s buyer responsibilities. posted by Princess Charming 2 months agoI have 28 clear glass cylinder vases, about 2" diameter, 10" tall. right now the vases are filled with red glass beads and have raffia ribbon that is easily removed. also have 40+ clear glass votive holders. let me know if you are interested or what me to send pix.
