This dress is gorgeous, but I bought it in case the one I was having handmade didnt come out in time. This was going to be what I would wear. I love it. Its so soft with a slight train. No alterations were made at all. I never wore this other than to try it on, and the tags are still on it, and it comes in its garment bag. Its ivory, off-white. The scalloped lace is black, zips up the back. So easy to wear. The lace doesn't come off, unless youre really crafty, but there is a seam across the middle, so you will always need to wear a ribbon (of any color) around the middle. You can adjust it to tie on the side, front or back. As you can see, it swishes and sways and looks romantic but not super traditional. Its good for an indie bride or someone who wants to have fun with their style.
The tags say it is a size 6, but I usually fit into a 4 and it would fit both. I am a 34 bust, with 28 waist, and 36 hips, if this helps you decide. The size chart for McClintock says that a 6 is 34 bust, 26.5 waist, 37 hips, so you can compare. They have a lousy return policy at jessica mcclintock, only 3 days, so i bought it knowing that i could easily sell it because its so adorable. Im selling it for $399 or your best offer.
