It¹s your old homie Mrs. Cherry Pie here with exciting news. I¹ve started my own business and will be working full time as a wedding and portrait photographer in 2010!
To celebrate the launch of Persimmon Images, I¹m giving away three tewtally FREE winter/spring engagement sessions to Bees in the Seattle/Portland area. Each session will be two hours of fun and frolicking at the location(s) of your choosing. Afterward, you¹ll also get a disc with print and web quality images from the shoot!
To enter the giveaway, share your vision for your ideal engagement shoot in the comments, via PM, or through email. Where would it be? What would it be like? What crazy things would you do or places would you go? What kind of photos would you receive?
I¹ll pick three creative winners this weekend (Jan 9/10) and post them in the comments and on my blog. Yay!
If you¹ve already had engagement pics or are more in need of sexxay boudoir photos or stylish wedding coverage, don¹t fret... if you schedule a boudoir session or wedding photography for 2010/2011 between now and Valentines Day and mention this classified ad, I¹ll give you an extra 15% off! It's my way of spreading the love. :)
Finally, if you¹re getting married between now and the end of April 2010 and still haven't found a photographer, I'll give my WB girls an an even more special "last minute" rate on a full day of wedding photography. Email me for details. If you know me, you know that I love off-the-wall, crazy engagement & boudoir shoots, and I know (oh, yeah, I know) exactly how much work goes into planning a wedding. Let¹s make yours shine!
Check out the Persimmon Images site or a ton of photo inspiration. And be sure to PM or email me if you have any questions. I'm excited to get this party started!
I didn't know you did Mrs. Joey's wedding! Great shots! I wish I was in Seattle or Portaland! (We didn't really do e-pcis. Can 't a girl do 1st anniversary pics instead??
I was just looking at your blog yesterday, wishing we'd hired someone with your style to do our wedding photos instead of the photog we did get who didn't listen to a thing I'd asked for. Also wish we'd had time to do an e-shoot. So many regrets with our wedding (nothing involving the marriage which, of course, is the most important part!). Sigh! We're in Vancouver, so close enough to get to Seattle (I love Mrs. Joey's family pics that you did recently) but we're now just an "old married couple" so I guess we don't count. Can't wait to see the results!
Oh, Cherrypie....anyone should want to take you up on this offer! I miss Seattle so much, and am jealous that you get that beauty for your photo backdrop! Eileen, you're in the Chicago area, I'm only an hour and a half away, if you need/want photos, let me know! www.dawnschaffer.com
Oh my goodness gracious! I hope I am not too late for this as it is January 8th. I am in Seattle!!! And I desperately want creative and beautiful engagement pictures! I would be so excited and grateful if you would do them for us. Your photographs are beautiful!
Hey guys! Thank you so much to everyone for entering. I was really impressed by all of your ideas!! I had a really hard time settling on three winners. I even had to strong-arm Mr. CP into helping me. In the end, everyone who entered will get a little somethin-somethin... our three final choices were:
Kate Winne, Andrea Jung, and Maggie Walter.
CONGRATS!! I've emailed you, but feel free to PM me if you didn't get it. :)
I've posted a synopsis of the great ideas you sent me, as well as what our winners thought of, over on my blog. See you around the boards!
Happy New Year, Bees!
