Hello bees,

I'm pre-selling my Alvina Valenta style #9102 gown. It will be available after my Oct 22, 2011 wedding.

This dress is a creme silk duchess satin soft fluted bridal gown with an Ivory Alencon lace overlay. Strapless sweetheart neckline with detachable Ivory satin ribbon and jeweled floral belt detail at natural waist. Covered buttons and loops to end of sweep train. The dress is even more amazing in person!!

The dress retails for a little over 4,000 plus tax and I'm willing to part with it for $2,900. It is a size 10, but I wear about a street size 6. I'm 5.4" and plan to wear about 3 inch heels.

I'm planning to wear it for a few hours at my very small wedding which really only consists of a dinner party for 28 people. I expect minimal wear and it should be as good as new for another bride to enjoy!

Hi, I am 5'8. Do you think the hem could be altered so that it would still look ok or would a piece have to be added?? I love and want this dress:))
