Hey everybody! I am looking for a Jim Hjelm style 8763 dress (or something extremely similar) in a size 2 for under $1500. My wedding will be in September of 2009, and i don't mind if the gown is preowned as long as it is in good condition and (obviously) not altered to the point where i can't fit into it! Let me know if you can help...i would GREATLY appreciate it!
I feel your pain, I am looking for the style 8814. I love Jim Hjelm!!! I just wanted to let you know that your dress is for say for $1,700 in street size 6. Just email the girl and see if she can bend on the price at all. Good luck!
Thanks everybody! I am actually a little ahead of myself since I haven't even tried any dresses on yet...but I just saw this gown online last week and fell in love! It will be mine, somehow. I am pretty sure a shop in my area carries the gown, so maybe they can tell me what the largest size is that I could get away with? I am also concerned about the hem not being easily altered...I am only 4'11"! Mrs Pomegranate, did you have to hem yours at all?

I also saw the one on preownedweddingdresses.com that baungst mentioned. It's worth a try. The small tear in the lace can be repaired.
