I have so much stuff left over from my July 31 wedding. We had a vintage/rustic theme. I only have a few pictures from my photographer, but more to come soon. I'd love to sell these to someone in the Seattle area as many items are fragile and/or heavy so kind of a pain to ship. Let me know if you're interested in the items not pictured and I can take some pictures!
Birdcage (used to hold cards). $10
3 apothecary jars and about six scoops from Pottery Barn (never used, I ended up using drawers to hold the candy in). Jars: $15 each, scoops, $2 each.
Two little birds, one pink and one blue, from Michael's (never used, still in plastic): $3 for both. I was planning on using them as a caketopper but changed my mind.
Mini clothespins, about 100, used to hang pictures up. $5 for them all.
Vintage books. I have about 60 vintage books, gathered from thrift stores. $80 for all of them or $2 apiece.
Birch candles, from Pottery Barn (never used). We decided not to use them, I have about 30 in various sizes. See this link: http://bit.ly/9aTLix. $80 for all of them.
Mason jars/milk bottles. I have a bunch of these, some blue, some clear, some milk bottles. I'm not sure how many I want to part with, but I could have about 15-20 to sell. $2 each for specialty jars, $1 each for the clear jars.
Cake stands. I have three ivory cakestands. Two are smaller (9" diam) and lacy looking. One is larger (13" diameter) with a ruffly edge from Williams-Sonoma. It's the largest size at this link: http://bit.ly/dfzDA2. $10 for the small ones and $30 for the large one.
Wood signs: I have a bunch of wooden signs that we painted by hand. If you're having a similar wedding, some of these might be useful. They say: Guestbook, Gifts, Photobooth, Wedding, Ceremony, Reception, Croquet, and Memories.
Apple Barrel Baskets: I have two medium sized and two small sized apple baskets that we used to hold napkins and silverware. $3 each for the medium sized and $2 each for the smaller.
Padded hangers. I have ten ivory satin padded hangers for sale. One I decorated with an ivory flower and three have pink ribbon tied around them. We used them to hang the dresses for pictures.
If you're interested, I also have some pink and white striped paper straws, about five sandalwood fans, and some paper pinwheels left over.
I live in the seattle area, and would love the books as well as the birdcage. is there any way i could see anything in person? if you are willing, i could meet you and give you a check/cash rather than use paypal.
Wow, your wedding was Beautiful!!! I am curious. Are you selling the little decorative flowers that were laying around your centerpieces? If so im extremely interested!!
Hi, I was wondering if you could send me pictures of the cake stands and apothecary jars? Also I was wondering how much you wanted for your wooden signs. Also you pictures are lovely... who was your photographer?
Your wedding was GORGEOUS! I live in Vancouver but will be coming to Seattle at the end of October to pick up my bridesmaid dresses. Would it be possible to send me a photo of your candy scoops?
SUCH A CUTE WEDDING!! oh goodness it's beautiful! I LOVE the birdcage, and the books are just what I was looking for! how big is the birdcage? and would you sell the suitcase that held your programs?
Thx everyone for all the interest! Sorry I didn't get back to this post til tonight. For those of you who asked about the paper pinwheels, they mostly got taken home by guests and I've decided to keep the ones I have left :) I do, however, have lots of books of sheet music and some pink and blue paper left if you're interested in buying them.
I'm also keeping the suitcase I used for the programs, but it's from Pottery Barn if you want to find the same one.
I forgot to add last time that I also have some big empty white frames that I used for the photobooth (see pic: I'm only selling the two big rectangular ones though, the fancy oval one I'm keeping!) I will sell them for $5 each.
I also have lots of tablecloths left over. I have 25 90" round in a light tan color, and 6 60x102" rectangular ones (same color). It's the color of the tablecloths in the pictures. Four of the round ones are still in their packaging; all the other ones have been washed. I'd like to get $6 per tablecloth or $180 for all of them.
Hi all! I thought I'd update you with what I still have.
I've sold the:
apothecary jars and candy scoops
most of the wood signs (still have ceremony, reception, and croquet as well as a couple "wedding" signs)
birdcage
chalkboards
striped straws
mini clothespins
blue/green books
birch candles.
I still have:
some pink, brown, and yellow books
mason jars and milkbottles
bag of moss
2 bags of seashells
little birds (cute for a caketopper!)
envelopes (pink and kraft paper brown)
tablecloths
padded hangers
white rectangular frames (empty)
Let me know if you're interested in the stuff that's still left. A lot of the smaller stuff I'd be happy to ship but if you can pick it up locally in Seattle, that's great.
Oh yeah, I have had lots of interest in the cakestands and apple baskets too. I'm planning to use them in a styled shoot on Sept 18th. After that, I will be selling them. But (especially for the cake stands) I'd really prefer to sell them to someone local. Thanks!!
SoonToBCJ: I have 3 pink books and 11 brown books left.
Jakery1208: I made the pinwheels! I just accordion-folded paper, used double-sided tape to attach the ends, and secured them with buttons on either side (hot glue). I have several books of sheet music left and sheets of the pink/blue paper. If you wanted to get the same effect, I'd be happy to sell those too :)
This post was from awhile ago, is there anything left? LOVE your theme/pictures. I am also from Seattle, and getting married in Normandy Park this September.
I'm sure everything has been picked over, but if you dont mind..i would LOVE to see pictures of your wedding day for inspiration.
