I am looking for a Davids Bridal dress style 9T9218, for my soon-to-be-wife. We went to Davids Bridal and she fell in love with this dress and we had all the plans to by it from there, however, as fate would have it we had to spend all of our wedding funds to take care of my mother when she became ill. So now I am seeking the dress size 18-22 (she wears an 18 but says she can alter something a little bigger) in this style. She doesn't care if it is white or ivory and the shash doesn't matter either. I just want to be able to give her what she deserve, since she has given up so much for me. She already has a dress that she got from the Goodwell for I think $8 and made it look beautiful, but her heart is still with the DB dress. My price range right now is $300 right now but I've been saving every month. If any one can help me please let me know.

Also, sometimes DB has $99 dress sales. Not everything goes down to $99, but other dresses go on sale at that time too.

This is so sweet of you, it made me do some research.

First off, your FI has great taste - love the dress! It's beautiful!

On a wedding board website called partypop, there are wedding dresses boards.

As you can see, there are couple of girls that have it. One girl had it at the beginning of the month. I posted on this thread asking them if they still did so you can check to see if they do.

Also, I had come across another thread warning you of doing business with a business called yaffy jip or jafffy yip on partypop or anywhere else.

I have this dress in ivory/champagne. I am asking $400 plus the cost of shipping for the dress, bra, and slip. The dress has been bustled and one of the loops broke, but it is an easy, cheap fix. Also the dress would need to be cleaned.

That is soooo very sweet of you to try and get her the dress. I have a DB dress for 300 and it is a size 18 but it is style T8017. I really hope you are able to find her the dress of her dreams, I know as a woman and one that had to wear a dress she really didn't like it is a very important thing. I will pray you find the one you want and for a good price.:)
