This dress has never been worn. It has not been altered, Its brand spanking new. There are 2 options for the neckline.... either fold the fabric down which would make it into a sweetheart neckline, or just wear it the way SJP did in SATC :) I'm selling it because i lost too much weight and it doesn't fit me anymore :( Its a beautiful dress!!! I paid just over $1000.00 for the dress with tax and i am selling it for $800.00 Please contact me if you are interested!

How does it run in sizing? Were you a size 6 whe you purchased it or smaller? Also, do you think it would fit a larger bust? Thanks for the feedback!

Hi! Thank you for your interest in this beautiful dress! As far as sizing goes, the dress is great. I was a size 6 when i bought the dress and am now a size 2 :-/ So since its a corset back, a size 4 or 8 would be good still. And as far as the larger bust, it would definitely be fine. I am a small B... approaching a big A it seems lol I tried on the dress with with the boob inserts and still had some room! And since the fabric isn't hugging the dress to an extreme, it wouldn't look bad by any means...

I am 5'6" and the only altering i would have needed on the dress (as a size 6) was going to be the length...

hey im currently a size 8 ..i just tried on a wedding dress that the sales lady sai was a replica of the sex in the city dress and i loved it but when i saw what the sex in the city dress really looked like it made me question it.. plus the dress was 2300...i love this dress...i figure i have time to get down to a size 6 my wedding is on 2011...where did u purchase it from...just in case someone purchases it before i do..lol...and congrats on the weight loss..

Hi! I purchased it from Ella Blu in March... I questioned it also when i saw the original but i planned on wearing the dress with the neckline folded down, i have photos of how it would look. i can e-mail them to you... i paid just over $1000.00 so its a great deal! i'm selling it for less bc i just need to get rid of it now. Its sitting in my daughters closet taking up space. :( Please get back to me if you would like to see photos of the neckline folded down. And in my opinion, the replica looks a lot prettier than the original... plus the train is longer than she had it in the movie.
