This is a very beautiful dark ivory silk charmeuse wedding gown with ruched tulle overlay on the bust. It has very delicate spaghetti straps & a beautiful beaded belt with a jeweled accent. There is a godet in the rear of the train. It is lined & has a zipper on the left side of the gown.

This style was launched in the Spring 2006 collection. The style # is 11266 & has the Certificate of Authenticity that can be shipped with it.

It has an old Hollywood (Grace Kelly) red carpet glamor. It is very beautiful & possesses a timeless elegance that is modern, but with a classic appeal that will not look dated when you look back at your wedding photos with your children or grandchildren. It is not the sort of dress that you will ever say, "What was I thinking?" about. The color would be truly beautiful with a candle-lit ceremony or a lovely beach wedding at sunset, but is perfect in any light. It is great for all skin tones and is very warm & is very flattering on most body types.

The gown has NOT been altered at all & is new with tags and free of any imperfections!

I have included the runway photos & press photos but will upload images of the actual gown on its hanger at your request. I have used the images with the model so that I didn't have to try it on at all & risk staining, snagging, or putting the bias of a certain body type. I know using an image of it being modeled may seem generic, but I think the model who wore it doesn't look like a starving skeleton & she is able to let the dress look the way it should.

Here are some links of the gown on the runway. It def fits like a true 8. My measurements are 35 bust, 28 waist, 38 hip, and it's totally fine on me. I only tried it on for fit & can't find the photos I took right then and there but will upload them if I find them. I was a little nervous with my bust and the strap being so delicate, so I took it off ASAP.

This is a beautiful & elegant ivory silk charmeuse wedding gown with ruched tulle overlay on the bust.

It has delicate spaghetti straps & a beautiful beaded belt with a jeweled broach accent.

There is a godet at the top of the train.

It is fully lined & has a zipper on the left side of the gown. The lining of the gown is very silky & luxurious. It keeps you feeling cool, secure & keeps the gown from being too sheer to skin which prevents some of that unforgiving look of satin/silk, and won't leave you feeling like you have to look like a stick figure in order to look good in it.

The style # is 11266 & has the Certificate of Authenticity that will be included.

It is a truly incredible dress that looks great on almost any body type. It is great for all skin tones and is very warm & is very flattering on most body types- in fact, I have yet to see it look unflattering on anyone.

The photos don't even do it justice, once you see it & feel it on, I truly believe you will fall in love with it!

I have photos from the runway, as well as photos on 3 "real" models.

I have joked with my friends & family and we have been calling it "The Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants" dress because we haven't found one person that this gown doesn't look nice on.

When we all went to the Vera Wang Bridal House on 77th & Madison Ave. in NYC, we all ended up trying the sample on. One of us is a size 2, with larger breasts and nice curves, she tried on the size 8 sample (no clips needed) & she loved it and looked fabulous! Four other of our girls in various shapes & sizes tried it on and loved it as well. When I tried it on at VWBH, I was a definite true size 10, and it even looked great on me & didn't call attention to my "problem areas". It's just amazing! That's where the "Sisterhood" dress!

My current measurements & my two other models measurements are listed below.

"Real" Models Measurements as Shown in Uploaded Photos

I used myself; I'm currently 5'5", with measurements of 36" Bust/ 29" Waist/ 38" Hip. I am a full D-cup. I have a medium olive skin tone with dark brown hair. I have a medium to larger frame & float between a 6-10 in evening gowns depending on the style & designer's fit.

My sister, who is 5'3", has a full C or sometimes D-cup. She has a naturally deep tan skin tone and is currently wearing her hair in a deep, rich red color. Her measurements are 34" Bust/26" Waist/36" Hip. She has a much smaller frame than my youngest sister and I do. She wears between a sz 4-8 gown, as she often falls between sizes. She also has weight fluctuations & is naturally very curvy. Lately she has been between a sz 4 & 6.

Finally, I used my youngest sister who is 5'4", with measurements of 33" Bust/28" Waist/37" Hip. She is a small B/full A-cup. She has a fair skin tone with light freckles, and is a redhead (dk strawberry blonde). Most whites/light colors tend to wash her out, but this color didn't at all. Her bone frame is medium. She is a true size 7.

This wedding gown has an old Hollywood Glamor. It reminds me of something that Grace Kelly would have walked the red carpet in during Academy Awards. It is very beautiful & possesses a timeless elegance that is modern, but with a classic appeal that will not look dated when you look back at your wedding photos.
