I am looking for a designer gown without the designer prices. Looking for a form fitting gown.I really like Alvina Valenta, Jim Hjelm, and Enzoani. I am a street size 4, so looking for a Size 8 or 10. I am 5'9" with heels so the dress must be LONG or hem able to be let back out. Let me know if you have what I'm looking for. posted by cgruse 4 months agoI have the attached mermaid all lace ivory dress for sale. I has a little beading for sparkle and is Monique Luo. Although purchased through David's Bridal, it looks like a designer gown. I am a street size 4 and this dress fits perfect, although I am only 5'7' and it was waaaayyyy to long for me (I am standing on my tip toes in the photos). The dress is brand new and still has the tags attached. The dress is a mermaid but looks great with even more flaire at the bottom with a mermaid crinoline. I paid $1000 for it but ouwld consider offers as I had to go with another dress due to changes in our wedding plans. If you have any questions, please PM me. Thanks.

posted by joliene 4 months agoI have an absolutely gorgeous Christina Wu (In-Stock) gown, that I originally saw in a magazine and was lucky enough to find it in a bridal shop. it is form fitting with beautiful beading and lace throughout. It is a form fitting sheath with a beaded schiffli lace/english net overlay with...<div id="descriptionSecond" class="body" style="display: block">scalloped edges, and a chapel length train. It has spaghetti straps that could easily be removed to make the dress strapless. I had this dress made into a corset style back directly from Christina Wu. The dress is a size 12- but I normally wear between a size 6-8. With the corseted style back I needed no alterations. The dress does not have any tears or snugs...it is still in excellent condition. I only wore it once at my wedding, then had it dry-cleaned and by professional cleaners. I am willing to include the veil also with the price. This dress does not deserve to sit in my spare bedroom closet - it deserves to be shown off by the beautiful bride. <div class="body" style="display: block">I am asking $750.00 which includes the shipping.....if you are interested pleas e-mail me at horengik@yahoo.com

Gorgeous Spanish designer Pronovias trumpet all-over lace gown with lace straps. Very basic alterations down the princess seams will take you to a size 4 (my size too). It's super flattering, and makes a lovely feminine shape.

posted by clee1128 4 months agoHello, if you're still looking I am selling my ivory Casablanca A001 dress. It's from their 'Diamond Collection', a couture line not advertised on their site and not sold in many stores.
It is a size 10 but it fits me, a street size 6/8. Trumpet shape, tons of beading on the bodice, very nice lace throughout. It should accomodate your height, but not sure what shoes you are wearing, I put all the measurements including length in the ad. New with tags. I have it up on Craigslist, here is the link:

posted by L breezy 3 months agoI have the Anjolique 930. Its a size 8 and is light ivory. The fabric is dupioni silk and feels wonderful. I am 5'8" and wore heels with the dress. It also has a beautiful french bustle. These pictures are of the dress in gold, but I have it in light ivory. I also attached a picture of the dress with the bustle as well. If you are interested, let me know and we can discuss pricing...I would not ask more than $1100 and am willing to negoiate if you are.

I have an allure 8633 gown. It is a size 4-6, color is ivory. I have never worn it or altered it, so it is still brand new. I bought it in April 2009,but my wedding won't be until sept 2010. trying to get a different dress.
