I've 100% decided I want a bridcage veil for my wedding day and have been searching for the perfect one to go with my Vintage Garden Party theme. Well you've created it! After struggling for weeks i decided once and for all that the long veil i had purchased was simply not me or my style, it wasn't how i wanted to be on my wedding day and i wasn't about to sacrifice my idea of my dream wedding for the only look that bridal stores offer! It's dang near impossible to find any birdcage veils in my area and with the wedding in 4 months, 2 kids and the new home it's too busy for me to make one! SO think of me :]! I could totally picture a beautiful ivory birdcage veil to go with my ivory dress!
posted by mandirex 6 months agoI would love to have the delightful birdcage veil. Originally I thought I'd want to have a really long veil . . . longer than the train of the dress. But now, I've reconsidered. I think I'm very conventional, but in an uncommon way. A birdcage veil is classic yet slightly different. This one in ivory would be just that!

Like a bride that has some wonderful snark romantic story. I am soo excited to have a few sweet vintage touches to my wedding. So with that said I would looove to win the birdcage veil in white.

I'd love to have the ivory one since my dress is more that color. It's a very unique touch for your special day. Hope I'm the lucky gal ;)

posted by razvan 6 months agoMy wedding gown is designed by Chrissy Wai-Ching. It is a one of kind gown handmade by her. I have been looking everywhere to find a wedding veil that will look just as stunning as my gown. I do not have a lot of money hence seaching here on weddingbee classifieds. So finding a handmade veil in my price range is nearly impossible.Chrissy is so amazing she has really given me the gown of my dreams without a one thousand dollar price tag. I had a baby about nine months ago here in Phoenix ( my first and only) and I am flying back to NY for my wedding. I really want to impress my friends and family. Everyone is so excited to meet the baby and I want my small hometown to remember my big day also! This veil is the one for me. I have been searching for a gown and veil for over a year and my wedding is June 27th. I have the perfect dress, and you have the perfect veil. Please consider me, you will really make my wedding perfect as well!!

posted by razvan 6 months agoMy fascination with vintage inspired looks started when I was a little girl sneaking into my Grandmother's jewelry boxes. I'd try on her jewelry then and I still do now. I never felt like a veil was something that would suit me. Until I found a birdcage veil. I've been searching for the perfect one and this looks gorgeous. It would be a perfect vintage touch for my ivory dress. Thank you for this opportunity!

posted by razvan 5 months agoI've been looking for something to change the look going from the ceremony to the reception. The birdcage veil is elegant, yet funky enough to do just that. I have a georgous cathedral length Ivory veil for my ceremony and I think that an Ivory birdcage veil is very appropriate for our rustic reception taking place in a barn! Fabulous idea, awesome work!!!

posted by razvan 5 months agoThis veil would not be for me, but for my friend who is getting married. We have been scrambling trying to find ways to save money on her dress, shoes and jewelry. She had to get her veil at Micheals craft store and she cried and it broke my heart. I am on this message board searching for a veil deal so I can buy it and surprise her with it. Her parents arent helping her because they cant, so we have been having yard sales and selling stuff on Ebay so she can make some cash to pay for things. I am not going to drone on and on about how broke she is, because we all know what its like...and if youre on here and you dont know what its like, then why are you on this board, right?
Anyway, this veil looks totally cool, is completely her style and it would make her so happy to have something so classy. She would need it in Ivory because the dress she is going to wear is ivory and is one she is borrowing from her Aunt. Its a simple vintage-looking silk "negligee" llooking gown that reminds me of the 40's and this veil would be great instead of the one she bought (which she could return and get the money). She totally digs vintage, and claims that its no big deal to have to do the "poor tour" for her wedding, but I know her, and I know shes really sad that she has to scrimp like this. Anyway, thats all.
