I bought the sample at a store in St. Paul but ended up finding a different dress that went along with the theme of my wedding. This dress sells for $825. It is a beautiful silk tafetta fabric with POCKETS!!! It has a removable flower pin and a chapel train. I had plans to alter it to a size 2 but didn't do it because I found a different dress. I'm hoping someone can capitalize on my indeciveness and buy it for only $500! Please let me know if you want more info/pictures.

I'm in Minneapolis and I was @ that shop, too and tried on that dress--do you know what they said about alterations for going down that many sizes?

The lady said it didn't matter if you were going down two or seven sizes, it's the same sewing procedure just more fabric. There is a great person who rebuilds dresses in Edina who said it would be in-between $100-200 to alterate either way. Let me know if you would like to come and look at the dress.
